Well, this sucks.

NBC has decided to cancel Go On after one season on the air. The series, starring Matthew Perry, John Cho and Tony-winner Laura Benanti, always struggled to find an audience, particularly after losing its Tuesday night Voice lead-in. However, it eventually evolved into one of the better first-year comedies on television this season, so it’s definitely a shame to see it go.

If there’s a silver lining in all of this, it’s that the season finale at least provided the show with a proper send-off, for the most part.

The show was actually pretty good till they brought in the dreadfully unfunny Piper Perabo as Matthew Perry's love interest. Her story arc took up like six or seven episodes, and it was unbearable.

@Mikhail XO That was probably the thing holding the show back from actually becoming great. I don't expect this to be the first or only show I reviewed this season to get the ax though. #Obvious
