‘Nashville’ picked up for full-season by ABC

Nashville, ABC’s heavily-promoted country music soap, has been steadily delivering on the promise of its hype. After the opening weeks amounted to saw uninspiring returns, last week’s episode was TV’s biggest new series gainer, growing its audience in the key Adult 18-49 demo by 1.2 rating points, which amounts to a 60% increase. This is thanks, perhaps in large part, to DVR viewership, as the show delivered a 3.2 rating in Live +7 numbers.
