The Motion Picture Sound Editors have announced their nominations for the past year, and Argo, Life of Pi, Skyfall, and The Hobbit are among the notable honorees. In a bit of a shock, Kathryn Bigelow’s Oscar-nominated, critically-acclaimed hit, Zero Dark Thirty, missed out on a nomination for the Golden Reel Awards, which honors the best in Sound Editing and Mixing.
