Moon Knight, A.K.A ‘Marvel’s Batman’, Could Be Headed to Netflix

Netflix could be adding a whole new superhero to its Marvel TV Universe. Marc Spector, a.k.a. Moon Knight, a.k.a. the man generally regarded as “Marvel’s Batman”, may be coming to Netflix soon.

The news was broken by Heroic Hollywood’s Umberto “El Mayimbe” Gonzales, who stated that Netflix is planning a back door pilot for the character, similar to how The Punisher’s appearance in Daredevil season two could end up leading to a Punisher spinoff. However, that’s about the sole extent of the news on the potential Moon Knight series. Still, it’s hard to argue that he wouldn’t fit right into Netflix’s darker take on the MCU. If nothing else, the character would work better on a prolonged Netflix series than in a one-off movie, since a series could really dig into the character and his origins.
