@TDG, I couldn't agree more. Whenever they say Tyce will be the choreographer for a routine, I cringe because I know the dancer will be screwed big time and not in a good way! He sucks as a judge and his choreography is awful for the most part. Other than Ricky and Allison's number tonight which he probably copied Sonya (sp?) to create, he is normally just sucky. Poor Mitchell and Melody :(
Melody hasnt performed on SYTYCD stage since season 1 and the only time they had her back, they gave her a sucky Broadway number ... seriously?! She's way more better than that. Broadway, Quickstep, Waltz, these should be all not done anymore in SYTYCD and Tyce should never be allowed to choreograph Broadway, there are more poses in this routine than dancing, total waste of Melody's talent.
why did cat say good to see you again to melody when she wasn't on in season 1? did she forget that? or am i missing something?
the face expression is disturbing..might be affect dance result.but good using the body.
Poor Mitchell. He didn't stand a chance with that lousy routine from Tyce. I'm glad NPH had the you-know-whats to call it like he saw it -- that piece was a patchwork of shmaltz. It didn't flow and it didn't seem cohesive in any way. Nothing conveyed "airplane". It was definitely disjointed, as NPH said. Had I not known that Tyce choreographed that routine, and I saw this performed elsewhere, I'd have to assume it was put together by high school amateurs. It was truly terrible. Tyce has the occasional nice work... but boy, he can really put together some stinkers. And this one was a doozy.
