Got Something to Add?
I said it to my husband before Simon made his comment......that was very believable! I loved it and he had my full attention. Him and Crystal were my favs tonight!
i loved it. i was a big fan of him in the auditions before the judges made him to go completely r&b. and this reminded me of why i liked him so much. i love this song. and i really enjoyed this performance. if i'm being honest...i feel like he maybe could've done something else with the song, the shimmery sounds that kept popping up and the piano i could've done without. it's a powerful vocal/lyrical song...and i kind of wished he had done it completely stripped and acoustic without the added music. but it was still great.
Rickey- the mp3 is only the first few bars not the entire song, Is there a way you fix it? it would be much appreciated, thank you!
If he doesn't make it as a singer, I think Mike would be great in musical theater. He's got tons of charisma and he connects with his audience. Great song tonight.
He is good in this genre, R&B seemed to fit him well, but we need to see Mike in action, a lof of his song choice are slow and emotionally rich. Perhaps he's been away fr his wife & his baby, can't blame him. He needs to have some fun with fast tempo, anyway it is just a suggestion.
Well, Big Mike delivered something tonight. But then again, his looks is not destined for stardom. I just have this gut feel that the entertainment industry is a bit harsh on obese people. We're talking her of longevity and with Mike's packaging, he's star will soon dim. It's once in a blue moon that an obese singer succeeds in the industry. Just my honest opinion. He got the voice. He does not have the looks and the x-factor, and that will eliminate him in the process.
It does not matter whether it's muscle or fatty tissues that makes him a buff. It's the weight and height that matter in BMI, and I am pretty sure with his gargantuan shadow he's in the obese range.
obese? He's a personal trainer... isn't that a whole lot of muscle? Although maybe he's too "bigorexic" for mainstream. Dunno.
Tonight was the first time I've enjoyed a Big Mike performance. Beautiful. I love this song and he did it justice.
