Michael Lynche – Eleanor Rigby – Video MP3 American Idol Top 9
Michael Lynche sings Eleanor Rigby on the American Idol Top 9
Rickey: LOL at the haiiiiii… For the performance, bringing out the fals again. I bit too dramatic for me.
Randy Jackson: You can do whatever you want. I love seeing the artist in you blossom.
Ellen DeGeneres: You can do anything. That was incredible.
Kara DioGuardi: That was fire.
Simon Cowell: This was the sort of thing you hear in musicals.

Got Something to Add?
Mike is soo bad at singing, no talent like Ruban,If he win, which I think not he will fail like Ruban!!! He and Andrew needs to go!!!! Boring every week and always weak performances. The judges wasted thier saved card and hate them for it. He will get emilimated next week if not the week after. I don't think he win make it that far!!!!
Just noticed that the audio mp3 file for the live performance of "Eleanor Rigby" by Mike Lynche was incorrectly marked as being by Andrew Garcia, not Michael Lynche..
You might want to re-post it with the correct artist name..
And another proof that Lynche's performance is brilliant is....the critics loved it! Another proof to the people in the world that you guys are indeed pathetic. Don't act like you know music because you like Crystal, Lee, or that failed wannabe folk act Didi. Heck I like Crystal too, but the only person with real folk sensibility was Lilly Scott and guess what America? You've voted her out. Face it America, you have to accept diversity. And yes, I'm a Michael Lynche fan and not an unapologetically one.
I think we all forget just how talented this guy is because early on he was made out to be the "big" guy or the "funny" guy or the "new Dad." When in reality...he's the most talented male singer this season! This performance was BRILLIANT and I can't wait for the Michael/Crystal finale. This performance was current, it had a splash of R&B and he was pitch perfect too!
This is an example of whats wrong with the judges. His vocals were weak till last 30 secs, but thats all it takes a few good power notes or runs make them forget the whole song-aka siobhan. The violins were hot kara other then that blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
His vocals were all over the place. So many bad notes....
This guy is ridiculously over-pimped. Even though he has a good heart that doesn't give you talent..oh well, at least they're not pimping Sanjaya..I'm sorry, I meant Andrew. XD
He should have known he would be compared to David Cook and come off looking bad. I'm ready for him to go.
Mike should be eliminated tomorrow. The worst of the night. Like always, he overdid it. His voice was not that good, just too standard for me, don't know what's on judges' mind when they praised him. Agreed with RPG, Didi's last performance was way better than Mike did tonight.
It was a simple nice good vocal performance. Nothing to throw a celebration over, but certainly more interesting that Siobhan.
I have no clue what Simon is talking about what so ever. This was very current for me. I thought it was a great performance and he sung it very well.
Parts of this were not great.... I still think he keeps fading and fading in the middle of the pack. My guess is that he will be the surprise elimination of this year.
Wow did i call the surprise elimination or what... lol. I think the judges wasted a completly good save on somebody who wasn't worthy of it. Like I've said for a long while now he has been fading and he is fading quicker then ever now. He better truly bring it if he wants to stay in this competition.
I think he has a radio popular voice. If he gets the right writers behind him, he could be a very good recording star. (But if he hooks up with 19/R/E they will push him for Broadway).
Not a bad performance.
This is an arrangement by a band called Doxology which was also used by David Cook a few seasons back. The band's version is SO much better, google it.
You probably looked at the outdoor-festival-version of the Kansas song. If you listen to the studio album version, you'll know what I mean (you can't take an orchestra to most of those locations). Believe me, I KNOW Mike copied the Kansas version - from back in 1998! You can't miss the handling of the violins - Dox doesn't even have violins!
I've heard the Dox version 1,000 times... i just haerd the Kansas version, it definitely sounds more like Dox... it's almost EXACTLY their arrangement....
Breezy, Doxology's version wasn't quite the same. This was a ripoff of Kansas' version from the CD ironically called "Always Never the Same" - right down to the team of violinists. Too bad the judges didn't know how NON-creative this was.
they will use the save on him if he gets the least number of votes....he is the most heavily flogged contestant of the season and he's not really that memorable
What kind of performance is this? How could the 3 judges hate Didi's performance last week, and love this??? This has an extremely absurd arrangement, worst vocal of Mike to date, and I agree with some comments above that he deserves to be in bottom 3 with this.
It's too dramatic, boring and you can find it anywhere in the hotel lounge.
I hope they will vote him out this week.
ok he did the falsetto again. I really don't like that. and the performance is bad. don't like it. shocker elim? hehehe
oh.. wait, it's not a shocker elim if he didn't perform well. lol. I say he goes tomorrow! lol
