I wish people would stop commenting about that David Cook guy, Matt Cardles version of this song is obviously better. Finally a genuine talent has won the X Factor! Matt has an incredible vocal range, just beautiful and he's a great song writer too ;)
Oh wow. I have been watching the show on youtube and this has been the best vocal from anyone at all so far. What is up that Wagner dude? He does not even belong on the same stage with Matt. I got goosebumps and tears. Amazing!!!!
Just saw David Cook's version.. Matt stole it for me, maybe because it was so much more personal to him and he sang it with more emotion. But Cook really did an incredible cover as well.
If you're wondering why this song meant so much to Matt, watch him explain it here:

While I do agree that David did a better version, but I loved it. Matt is my favorite among the boys.
I hope you posted Rebecca's performance too because she was amazing as well.
I'm sorry but David Cook did this "MUCH BETTER" on Idol. This singer is so over praised! His voice is to monotone and cracks to much.
super good yes....stunning...almost.....perfect standing ovation? i dont think so...he cracked a few times....still a very good performance but over praised
How many times are we going to hear this song during the finals? Simon loves this song but it's overkill.
I only heard this song sung TWICE!
What about Rebecca "Forehead" Ferguson singing Make You Feel My Love which was sung by Annastasia Baker, Gamu Nhengu, Katie Waissel, John Wilding, and just about everyone?
