Mary J. Blige joins The Voice as mentor

Mary J. Blige has joined The Voice as mentor for Team Adam Levine. Yes! So excited. Team Adam is my favorite team!

Mary J. is the second mentor to be revealed after Michael Buble joined Team Blake.

The new season premieres on September 10 on NBC.

Yay!

Adam Levine and his mentees on the next season of The Voice will get a helping hand from Mary J. Blige, who will act as as his team’s adviser on the hit show’s upcoming third season.

“I’ve always been a huge fan of Mary J. Blige,” said the Maroon 5 frontman, who counted Robin Thicke and Alanis Morrisette among his advisers last season. “So it’s been great having her on The Voice as an adviser to my team.”

The pair have already started filming together, with Blige adding, “I love Adam, he’s amazing. I’m so happy to be working with him and his team.”
