Mariah Carey says Nicki Minaj posed an ‘Unsafe Work Environment’ – Video

Barbara Walters interviewed Mariah Carey on Nightline about her judging American Idol, touching on her feud with Nicki Minaj. Mariah says that Nicki created an “unsafe work environment” when Nicki allegedly threatened her to shoot her “if she had a gun”.

This prompted Mariah to hire extra security for herself and her twins.

Mariah confirmed that she was paid “in the ballpark” of $18 million to be on American Idol. Hopefully she’s more animated than Britney Spears on The X Factor.

Mariah also said that husband Nick Cannon was more “festive” than her. LOL. I loved that. Festive! Think we’re going to hear this word many times on Idol this year.

Mariah and Nicki are now at peace according to Barbara Walters.
