Marcia Cross cast in FOX comedy pilot, ‘Fatrick’
Marcia Cross has been cast in FOX’s new comedy pilot, Fatrick, which would be her first major TV role since Desperate Housewives.
The show follows, Patrick, a thirty-something “formerly fat kid who is compelled to face the damage caused by years of being ‘Fatrick,’ with scenes set in both the present day and his school years.” Cross will portray Patrick’s mother, Arlene, who is a fit, nutritionist who is strict on her family’s eating habits. Said to have no filter, she is proud of her skinny daughter but isn’t quite keen on Patrick.
Prior to her Emmy and Golden Globe nominated performance on Desperate Housewives, Cross had major roles on Everwood, Melrose Place, and One Life to Live
