Lilly Scott – A Change is Gonna Come – Video MP3 American Idol Top 20 Performance
Lilly Scott sings “A Change is Gonna Come” by Sam Cooke on the American Idol Top 20
This was really good!
Ellen DeGeneres: You have got “it”. I was just a fan in a seat watching a great performance.
Kara DioGuardi: You just had your first “moment” in the competition.
Randy Jackson: You worked it out, you did your thing!
Simon Cowell: I thought it was good, not crazy about it.

Got Something to Add?
I don't get it. To me, she sounds awful. There are some nice notes, but there are so many wrong notes and it's not style, it's just inability to sing. Plus there's a weird quaver as if she were very nervous, especially towards the end. I find it painful to listen to. I could never imagine this being published; it's way too amateur. Great song; good production; dreadful performance.
Well if she is last on dialidol, than she is not going home. The last person on dialidol hasn't gone home in a long time. You remember when Allison Iraheta was always last and she never went home. Also Kris Allen was last on that thing 4 or 5 times.
most over used phrase in Idol - dark horse - .
STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!! They are all there in the competition and they all have a chance at winning. Anything can happen. It's just getting annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not a fan... She's a phony. She claims she lived in her car blah blah blah... funny because her parents are in the audience. PLEASE GET RID OF THE PEACOCK FEATHER EARRINGS. Bowersox for the win!!
I Love Lily!!!!!
I am rooting for Siobhan and the Idol producer's team(Simon and the lot) are hugely pimping Crystal but I truly think Lily is the real "dark horse"! I think she has a very relevant and contemporary sound and look and amazingly she has the BEST personality of all the girls. Very easy and natural and not "too cool for school". I think she will have a lot of great things to offer in the coming weeks!
Very good...liked Sam cook better, of course. She wasn't the very best in my opinion but this girl will go far in this competition.
i like her and i really like her voice but i was lukewarm on the performance. she was better last week. i thought the judging was a bit off here...the performance was alright, it wasn't great and she definitely oversang it. i like that she's different but i did NOT like the arrangement of this song, it was awkward. and i love this song.
It was ok. Not really fantastic, but it was interesting and people are going to remember it.
I do really like the tone of her voice.
She's got to put the guitar down! I remember when Syesha did that song. Seems like these girls are recycling the past Idols songs.
Started off good, felt authentic but I got bored by the end.
At this point I'm getting fidgety with Idol.
My mom said the same thing...Cindy, that's why she likes her!
She definately has talent and my fav, but the performance was not the greatest, just okay.
