Lee is way the best, but in he final, he wasnt so good.... I still perfering him and crystal is horrible, her name is Cristal Druggy-faced boring sucks......... Damn her!

Even Bono himself couldn't sing that song well enough to beat out the kind of vocal that bowersox was given to sing as last song. I thought only Madonna's Ray Of Light would have been an equal choice for her to sing if they were gonna all of a sudden expect lee to handle those high ass notes of beautiful day! And you could read it all over poor Lee's face that he was railroaded and couldn't do a thing about it.

I am pretty sure Lee was overwhelmed! I definitely voted for Lee. No matter what I love his voice and if he makes an album I will definitely buy it.

If the final performances are anything to go by and an indication of how their careers will take off or not after AI [2010], American Idol is going to lose BIG [or is that choke BIG]if Lee wins this!

Lee is always nervous on stage..He doesn't have the confidence like Crystal and his voice is just normal..Nothing outstanding..If he wins, he is just a repeat of David Cook..David Cook is more original..Lee is a bit copy catish..

Lee just fizzled out tonight. Its like he wasnt into it. This was the worst and most disappointing finale ever. I dont care for Crystal at all, and there is no market for her kind of singing. She screetched half the way through.
Lee is a good singer and he proved it with Treat Her Like a Lady, but I dont think he will ever have the success Daughtry does UNLESS they give him a great songwriters and its the perfect song for him.
Im so let down by both of them.

Wow, it is just a coincidence that Lee sang Beautiful Day or idol has its rights with this song. It has been performed in World Idol and Asian Idol and both singers have just won with this song. Anyway no matter what happens I'm proud of Lee and an idol he has become! Good luck on your career Lee and bring home the bacon!

I like that he tried to change up The Boxer compared to his original performance. That's really the way to do a repeat song. With that said I don't think it was a vast improvement over the first time.

That was UNREAL. Idol came to a new low tonight by completely rigging this. I mean REALLY what were those song choices. If you want Crystal to win, why even have a competition???? LEE ALL THE WAY! Even though they screwed him over tonight, and threw lobs to her all night. LEE WILL WIN.

I thought Lee should not have chose "The Boxer" as his first song (should have chose the Sinatra song or Treat Her Like a Lady, and he got screwed when he was given "Everybody Hurts" as his second song. Not a good song for this type of competition. Not powerful enough and too slow. I thought he did a great job, though, on Beautiful Day. The audience seemed to love it and, to me, he gave a powerful performance . WE LOVE YOU LEE!!

Agree with an ealier post that Lee should not have chosen The Boxer for his first song. It's too boring! He should have chosen "Treat Her Like a Lady" or "That's Life" bySinatra. Those were two of his best performances.

As far as his songs tonight, I felt like they gave Lee a weak song to sing in "Everybody Hurts." Not a powerful song for a contest like this. I really thought he did a great job, though, on Beautiful Day. The audience seemed to love it.

Please vote for Lee. He is just more versatile than Crystal. She always sounds the same to me. I just checked Dial Idol.com Measuring the Busy Signal and Lee was leading by quite a big margin. That is usually pretty close the the final results. EVERYONE KEEP VOTING FOR LEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will be a beautiful day when I no longer have to listen to Lee butchering songs with his tuneless, shouty voice. America, you have got to be kidding me with this guy.

Crystal brought her A game tonight. And Lee brought an A minus. There was just no comparison tonight. Sorry. Crystal FTW.

crystal did better on up to the mountain, but i would rather hear beautiful day on the radio, but i dont know who will win, lee has been my favorite through the show, but i will be happy either way

I wish he could have chosen all 3 songs himself. Everybody Hurts and Beautiful Day did not allow his voice to show emotion and rise the way we've come to love him. Those are not the type of songs Lee would have chosen. Just listen to his original songs. Simple Man, The Boxer, Falling Slowly are his type of music. PLEASE SAVE LEE! Vote for Lee!!!!!!

Wow Lee choked tonight...big time! Shouldn't have chosen that song...he should have gone with the Sinatra song. Crystal won every round tonight...and it wasn't even close. The sad thing is, she wasn't even trying that hard either because she knew she was going to win.

Rickey, is that the only thing you can say about Lee's performance..."Go Dark Horse"?

Lee is good, but to my mind he's not nearly as good as Crystal.

I think I'm gonna have to vote my butt off. I love Lee and want him to win but not sure he did enough for those people who like both Lee and Crystal. Not his fault, song choices stunk. Vote....vote....vote for Lee. Can you just see his face if he won???? He'd probably pass out...lol

So frustrated right now! I really feel like, unfortunately, Kara was right! He did get swallowed up by the music all night - I could barely hear his voice on any songs. I'm not usually prone to conspiracy theories, but he didn't even sound like the Lee we fell in love with and I have to wonder why they did that!

On top of that, it felt so RUSHED tonight! I could barely enjoy it.... :(
