Lauren Alaina – Like We Never Loved At All – American Idol 10 Audition
Lauren Alaina auditions with Like We Never Loved At All on American Idol 10
Lauren is from Rossville, GA, age 15 and is a student.
Her cousin Holly inspired her to sing. When Holly got sick, Lauren raised money for her.
When she got her golden ticket, she sang “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” win Steven Tyler! Awesome.
Go Lauren! We. Are. Team. Lauren!

i absolutely loveee lauren! she has an awesome voice i hope and believe she will win the whole competition! i love her ... go lauren lol
I love this girl!! She is my favorite and has been since day one!! She's 15!!!! WOW!!! What a voice!!! She has so much heart too and absolutely commands the stage!!!
When this girl started singing (and talking ) , we didn`t stopping watching the screen until she finished, then we wanted more .
I think Lauren is adorable, and she is very talented! How many 15 year olds can take control of a room of celebs in just a minute like she did.....she was "directing" Tyler like a pro! Love it! She'll go far in this competition and in life. Good Luck, Lauren!
I think she will go far. She is from the South, so she has a chance of winning. Historically, the South votes in the winners.
She is the same old, same old young white female performer. If I hear any more twangs, I think I will be sick. Where is the breath of fresh air in music? AI still lacking so far in auditions.
Love the "Watcha all think" at the end.
I don't thing she will be overwhelmed by Hollywood. Anybody who cues Tyler to sing.. has some confidence.
The 2nd song was better than the first.
Good voice, but a little early to be declaring her the winner. It's usually the kiss of death - too much pressure on the contestant and people don't like being told who to vote for.
Here is some of her original music:
I really liked her! And I agree with others that her "I don't wanna miss a thing" was way better than her original song. Lauren/Scotty finale please!!!
Really liked her voice - her audition reminded me of Kelly Clarkson. Any chance she changes her last name during Hollywood week?
She's definitely got a got a good voice but terrible breath support. She'd better get some help from the vocal coaches because that gasping at odd places is distracting. I don't think she lives up to Nigel's hype.
I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing was 10x better than her audition song... Wish we could have heard more of that.
Overhyped but she has a great voice, I think she just needs a little more experience.
The crying in her video package seemed a little forced though.
Good voice. A little chubby. There's going to be that Kelly Clarkston pressure to lose weight. She's a performer too.
This year is about the young ones and I truly believe a young girl (15-18 year old) will win this year. Lauren has a fantastic voice and will go far, but I don't think she'll win. It looks like the "pimping" has already started and we all know how early "pimping" hurt contestants like David Archuleta and Adam Lambert.
That was good, but not as good as all of Nigel's hype. I just hope she can stand up to the pressure of the live shows. IDT she has the extensive experience going into this as Diana Degarmo, Jordin Sparks and Archie.
Fantastic voice. And she looks exactly like Candace Cameron, it's freaky.
DJ Tanner will win American Idol.
What on earth triggers someone giving the above comment a "thumbs down"? Honestly, that's so annoying and stupid.
