An abridged video of Judas will air on the American Idol Top 5 results show this week, but the 7-minute long-form video will air on E! News Channel one hour earlier at 7 PM ET.
What? American Idol isn’t even getting an exclusive? Pre-empted, and not getting the long-form?
The songs sucks anyway.
Lady Gaga will premiere two versions of her “Judas” music video this Thursday (May 5), unveiling an abridged clip on “American Idol” and a 7-minute uncut version on E! News.
The long-form “Judas” video, which was co-directed by the pop star and choreographer Laurieann Gibson, will premiere on E! at 7:00 pm EST, while the second version will air during the top 5 elimination episode of “American Idol.” The biblically themed clip stars Gaga as Mary Magdalene and Norman Reedus as Judas Iscariot, and reportedly cost a whopping $10 million to produce.
