She won the award for Video of the Year. Cher presented that award and Lady Gaga handed her her “meat purse” when she accepted the award. She announced that her third album will be titled “Born This Way”.

Agreed Lady GaGa is very talented and is a front line fighter for human rights, though the meat dress confuses me a little ,but what the heck - I'm not a vegan so I'm not offended. And no one recoiled from her when they hugged her making me wonder if it perhaps was not slimy and bloody and perhaps not real meat ?

I was disgusting, what does the have to do with human rights? Some might say she's wasting food when there are so many hungry people in the world. I personally think she was just doing it for attention. There are plenty of other ways to express ones opinion. She's a beautiful women with amazing talent she doesn't need all that stuff. WOW. This woman completely SWAMPED the award show, winning the most coveted award of the night. Giving three of the most beautiful, inspirational, charismatic speeches, and then finishing her third one off with a beautiful acapella arrangement from her up-coming album (which really excites me!). And all y'all are focusing on is her dress? Seriously, what even.
