Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera To Release ‘Do What U Want’ Studio Version

Lady Gaga Xtina 04-2013-12-17

This is so exciting! Two of pop music’s biggest stars surprised us all when they got together to duet on the season 5 finale of The Voice. Lady Gaga was joined on stage by Christina Aguilera to perform a new version of Gaga’s current hit single “Do What U Want”.

Needless to say, it was awesome. Apparently, the two of them agreed because they got back in the studio to release a studio version of the performance.

Lady Gaga’s “Do What U Want” featuring Christina Aguilera is available for pre-order on Amazon and should be available after midnight tonight just in time for New Year’s.

This is so much better than being forced to listen to R. Kelly.

What do you guys think of this collaboration?

I wish they'd do a new song instead (like another one from her album).  But I suppose this is Lady Gaga trying to wipe the R. Kelly collaboration mistake from our consciousness.

On another note, Aguilera can only seem to get on the charts or in the public eye these days when she collaborates with another artist.

@IdleTime yet she makes a song from an unknown band to be #1 for like 4 consecutive weeks... so I don't understand why are you implying ? and it will be funny if this songs skyrockets to #1 on itunes and into the top 10 of billboard.... because lady gaga by herself couldn't do it with this specific song

@IdleTimeShe doesn't have her own music to promote right now and she's a great collab artist. I'm excited :D

@jazch @IdleTime I'm not implying anything, just stating facts.  She hasn't had a top 10 solo hit since 2008.  There are many reasons why "Say Something" was #1, not just b/c she was on it.  Her collab. with Blake Shelton kinda flopped, so she doesn't have an automatic Midas touch.  As for "Body" eventually hitting #1, well, don't count your chickens...
