Lady Gaga – Born This Way at the Grammy Awards
Lady Gaga premiere performance of her new single “Born This Way” at the Grammy Awards! I loved it!
She came out of the “egg” that she arrived in on the red carpet. The lighting was very dim giving the dancers a nice silhouette during the performance.
The number was introduced by Ricky Martin in hot silver pants! Woot!

Got Something to Add?
Gaga gave a great performance, probably one of her best live performances ever. She toned down her usual pompous gimmicks and focused directly on the singing, the lyrics and the message behind them. You don't often hear those powerful in-tune vocals while dancing a strenous choreo from other artists, do you? She's the best and most complete pop artist out there right now, and by large. Haters should just learn to deal with it!
She tries so hard to make things weird to add an edge to her performance. She's really just made it hard for herself. I was so bored throughout her performance. Again, like when she performed with Elton John, she tried to make her performance interesting by putting decapitated heads on her organ/piano. Don't even tell me that has a deeper meaning.
I used to be a HUGE fan of her's, but in the last week I have quickly started to change my opinion!
"Born This Way" is a terrible song; possibly the worst in music history.
Her performance last night was boring, bland and completely stupid.
The whole "entering inside of an egg" thing is sooooooo 1985.
She really needs to give it a rest! When you try too hard to be something you come off like a total poser. I pray that her next singles "Judas" and "Americano" are more like her old music...REAL MUSIC!
Good performance (except the actual song) and FINALLY she got rid of the black and dark drama. However, Born This Way is Express Yourself. Watch the mashup here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JD93yzTU_SQ&feature=player_embedded
it was very like madonna,, but i thought it was great nonetheless..she did a great job....so did the dancers...
How could you say it was boring and bland? The dancing was fantastic, her voice was also, and she had so much exuberance and joy in her performance. It's not EY, and everyone is just parroting that it is, over and over until it becomes the truth - or they believe it is. So it's not the greatest song in the world - So what? What about the message? So what if it's not the greatest lyric - The meaning behind the words is what counts.
