L.A. Reid signs on for The X Factor Season 2

L.A. Reid has signed on for The X Factor Season 2. THR reports that he signed the contract on Friday.

Yay! Team L.A. all the way! He was my favorite judge last season. Looking forward to the new season of X. It’s going to be epic!

The judge and Epic Records chairman signed the contract on Friday, a show insider tells The Hollywood Reporter, four days after the show relieved host Steve Jones and judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger from season 2 duty.

In a way I think its a smart move by simon LA has the smarts for artists etc.. Paula (I love her) but she was there for the chemistry to get the first season going. Nicole was a test pilot and she crashed and burned. I think if Mariah comes along (Not a big fan of the squealer) it will help the ratings... not sure on the talent mentoring......
