Kevin deserved to win. There is something endearing and genuine about him. He needed a break in life. With his kindness and humility he will do great things.I liked him from the first time I saw him.

My vote is definitely for Recycled Percussion, I hope they win. But I must say, this was a fantastic finale show!!! Everyone was so good in their own way.

I am NOT a country music fan period, but Kevin Skinner has that rare ability to reach people, and he touched me. There is more to talent than timing and hitting all the right notes. Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson proved that. For years Ben Crosby was a flop because he could not reach his audience and he had a wonderful voice. Kevin is much more than tears in my beer, and somebody done somebody wrong crap. I admire him very much

I think the guy is talented, I get goosebumps when I hear him sing. He is so heartfelt and you can almost see his soul. He is real and genuine and really feels what he is singing. That makes for a real shot at success in the country field. The connection from his voice to the people hearing it is what makes him so special.

Skinner is not bad, but he is ridiculously overrated.

I had the chance to visit Nashville, and of course, the city if packed with aspiring country musicians. Many of them are VERY good, and yet the competition is so tough, they can't score a record deal. Most of the unknowns I got to hear perform in local clubs and even on street corners are better than Skinner.

If he could get some vocal training that taught him how to sing on key, he'd be much better. Why no mention of Voices of Glory? I thought they were excellent tonight.

He has talent. He's just not quite there yet. But he has a very nice tone.

I don't think he is talented either....

I don't understand why so many people think Kevin is talented. He's not.

Terrible arraignment. He should have stuck with Mark Chestnut's country arraignment. Somebody mistakenly advised him to go for a more pop sound, that did not suit him well at all.
