Kevin Skinner – Always On My Mind – Video – America’s Got Talent

when you can move a 75 year old lady to tears it has to be good i have him on my recorder and watch at least 2 times a day cant wait for his new cd

This may sound a bit off, but considering Kevin is a country singer/guitarist, I believe his finals song choice should be something a bit more uplifting than "Always On My Mind".

Don't get me wrong, I love both Willie's and Michael Buble's renditions and thought Kevin performed it quite well, but in the finals he will need the crowd and judges behind him more than ever.

Two possible song choices:
1) Suspicious Minds (Elvis and Dwight did it, why not Kevin?)
2) Heard It In a Love Song (this choice b/c Marshall Tucker's vocalist sounds like Kevin - plus it's a cool tune)

I like Skinner but he chose a bad song--"You Were Always on My Mind" is very easy to sound flat, and he did last nite

i think he's going through the songs sung on american idol country week. first kris's, now anoops, hehe. but in all seriousness. i love him i want him to win too

I don't think he's all that great. He sounded terribly off-key in places to me. I thought the Texas Tenors were much better last night.

He does seem like the real McCoy. I'm not a big fan of country music, but I like this guy. I hope he does well.

No matter where you go now you can say God blessed you to have gone this far, you are awesome.
