Katie is a sure contender this season. First, her voice has a wide range. You can throw any song at her. Just like Jordin Sparks. Second, she's young and vibrant. Third, beautiful girl not difficult to repackage and easy to remember. Just let her win this then she can be at par with Jojo, Miley Cyrus,Jordin Sparks.....
Season 9 is going to be horrible.
She's doing fine, it's an disadvantage for not playing instrument, I think she will WOW us very soon by complete song performance with music background.

OMG she totally sounds like JoJo!
I find Katie very nice and a good singer, but nothing extraordinary or especially unique. She's destined for a Top 6/7 finish AT BEST. I could see her not even making the Top 12 because I don't think the public will be that into her.
at this point, she is reminding me of katharine mcphee. vocally and visually.
The song is too big for her. She's not ready. If they put her through she'll be canon fodder.
Uh. She tries too hard. She has a good voice but all that movement is doing nothing for her. She should stick to being 16 and not try too hard to look "sexy" or act like she's 20-something.
