She should be there. It wasn't her that knocked Lily orKatelyn off. she wasn't even in the bottom until last week. Also, she still isn't the very bottom of the remaining!! I would see Tim Urban go before her, Didi or Andrew .

she wasn't pitchy this week, other weeks yes, but this is where they get more input and support and if she is given more time she will only improve.

I love her voice :D I really don't understand why the judges keep telling her to be younger. What's wrong with being mature and singing mature songs? That's what she's good at!

i still don't know what people see in her. however, this is definitely by far the best she's ever sounded. she still has yet to have a breakout performance tho. altho i don't like katie at all, and tho i somewhat enjoy her voice occasionally, this is more the kind of music she should be trying to sing, and it irks me to no end that they keep telling her to be younger. but it was very robotic. she is very robotic in general. when she sings, i don't feel emotion from her, and i don't think she brings anything to any song, she just goes through the motions.

her nerves are getting the best of her. She has to focus on the music and audience not what the judges are going to say to her week to week.

Meh -- she did better than usual, but she just isn't a very good singer. Very ordinary voice -- no distinctiveness to her at all -- plus she sounds very dated and old-fashioned. It is a sad commentary on the season that she has made it this far -- especially since she has not had one performance that really stood out the entire season.

she has a great voice, it's just the coming together of her finding out who she wants to be and all out going for it instead of trying to do every little thing the judges tell her to. If her voice is beyond her years, you really can't young it up...she needs to work with it as it is and be comfortable with it. :)

I thought Katie did an excellent job with the voice. I didn't think the judges gave her credit for younging it up a little bit. Her attitude, the change in the music, and the way she sang it all made it a little younger. So, I thought she was really good tonight. Her best performance by a mile. Go Katie! I hope she is out of the bottom three.

She has a good voice but at certain notes she fails plus she doesnt have a personality, that what makes her forgetful, too pageanty. Hope she'll be safe, to see what's more she can do next week.

It was her best vocal, but it wasnt something amazing. I dont think it was robotic at all. But I agree with Ellen, she could have done Rihanna, Alicia or whatever, and she goes with this song that has been done so many times before. I think this one with I Dont Want to Miss a Thing (and others too that I cant remember now) should be out of the song choices list that they give to the contestants.

meh. honestly, when this song is brought up on AI, I still remember Fantasia bringing this song down. and I can't help compare, sorry Katie that fell flat to me. great control with your voice (and not so nasal-y, I might add). but that was just meh.
