Terrible... It's bad enough that it's Fergie and not vocally challenging in the first place, but this... ugh. Maybe her Miley can go on tour together or something, they definitely compliment each other.

this performance made me realize that fergie is a better singer than i thought.

Judges must have lost their monitors. That was just sharp enough to keep making me use my own body English to try and correct it.

I really like her. She has a very pretty voice. But, it was a little too pitchy. But, I think tonight will be when she finally hits a groove and starts improving. I really hope so anyways. There is something great about her.

im not a katie fan, i actually hate her for being in the top 12 (it should've been lilly or even katelyn) but i actually liked this performance, i agree with ellen its her best performance so far. her big voice suited this song since fergie also has that big (sometimes nasal-y) voice.

At least Katie looked more comfortable tonight and less like a contestant in a pageant. The low notes were good but the high ones were too nasally. So much potential here but I just don't see it.

I actually think she sounded very well on the verses but the chrous was pitchy for me. Her voice sounds good when she is in low key. And finally she did something according to her age.

now i retract the "lil rounds path of mediocrity" that i threw to katie a few weeks ago... seem like andrew is the one going that path :P

she does that nasal-y thing i find it weird. a bit pitchy on the high notes. her range is on the low and yet she's doing the nasal-y thing.

Sharp, robotic. Boring. Simon gave her good advice about the market being crowded and her perhaps having a better shot in country but she's not got IT.

OK--here is your opportunity to click the thumbs down. Katie is Disney. The newer clothes--the newer song--she STILL comes off like an overaged Girl Scout. I just am not a Katie fan.

HORRIBLE singing...they gave her a free pass tonight because there are others they'd like to see go, she's safe for now, but not in a good way.
