Taylor Swift is my FAVOURITE SINGER EVER.
she is an honest person, and so kind & cute. she didn't deserve that AT ALL! think of how she must've felt after stupid kanye said that ! I can't believe him ! :@. Go taylor !!!!

Now I'm not a fan of Taylor Swift ether so personally it doesn't matter to me who got the award but this man has NO class at all.

First off he put Beyonce on the spot and I can guarantee she said something about it to him or had one of her people do it for her.

Just wondering now why Taylor Swift is in a different dress when she came out as per Beyonce's invitation to thank people for her earlier award. I thought the only one who went through wardrobe changes was Lady Gag-Gag!

Did Beyonce do it because she was truly classy and gracious? Or was she just trying to save face? Who really knows? But you can't just *assume* that she had anything to do with Kanye's meltdown.

Perhaps they got Taylor ready backstage early IN CASE Beyonce won (which is so happens she did and it all worked out). Or maybe Beyonce's people asked MTV if she was going to win - perhaps it was all predetermined who was going to win which award by MTV (which doesn't surprise me all that much).

Either way, Beyonce's reaction to Kanye's rant looked pretty genuine to me. But that's just my opinion ;)

beyonce iznt a douchebag (although I agree kanye is) the stars are used to being in the spotlight so they're obviously good at downplaying their emotions. Did you really expect her to weep and thank beyonce profoundly? and shut it tiff.

This was a complete set up. I dont think that Beyonce is as innocent as she would like to appear. It’s obvious when you see the response Taylor gave in an interview when asked about it. Here is a little snippet … “They told me to stand by the side of the stage, and I didn’t really know what was going to go down. But I thought it was so wonderful and gracious of her to do what she’s always done”. Ok, so how did they know Beyonce was going to give Taylor her time? How convenient for them to ask Taylor to stand backstage just before the moon man is given out…all too suspect to me. Both Beyonce and Kanye are douchebags.

If everything we did was on national television. Then we have some serious problems, I am shure. We recognize what kanye did was rude, and a jerk move, but he is sorry for it. And it just made Taylor's award a little better by knowing that all of us are supporting her no matter how bad her moment was screwed. But Kanye is sorry. What else can you ask him for?

I'm not a Taylor Swift fan, don't think she can sing...but she can write and the kids love her. She didn't deserve to be treated like that...hope it was the end for him.

Kanye was just plain rude, I mean he had no business running up on stage like that bitching about how Beyonce should've won. Poor Taylor she looked like she was just about in shock. Kanye was a complete jerk and only made a fool out of himself and I am glad he was kicked out.

MTV should really be sending Kanye multiple gift baskets, because as much douchebaggery as Kanye committed last night (and yes, there was a LOT of it - poor girl's first VMA), you know they LOVE this kind of stuff. It keeps everyone talking about the award show longer than they normally would have.

... And whose to say Kanye won't eventually benefit from this? Yeah, the world may feel unfavorable towards him right now, but with the right apologies and PR, he could be back and in the spotlight - a goal which I'm sure was set before he really gave a rat's ass about who was winning best female video on MTV.

After all, attention whores like Kanye revel in any kind of attention, positive or negative, as long as people are still saying their name in the end.

Even though I am not the biggest Taylor Swift fan (I do think she is auto-tuned), she has catchy songs that appeal to the MTV demographics. She comes across as a nice kid and deserved her moment. Beyonce was a total class act. Kanye is a a**hole. I have never liked him. I have never understood his appeal. Maybe we can all get lucky he will fade into obscurity.

I feel pity for Taylor Swift even though I'm no Taylor Swift fan anyway. It's needless to say that sweet innocent Miss Swift got traumatized. In the first place, I never really had ANY form of "respect" for Kanye, so I couldn't say that "I've lost my respect" for His Royal High & Mighty EGOness Kanye West after this appalling incident. I admit, I do like/love a number of Kanye's songs BUT I never really liked the dude's humanity. Even w/ his so-called 'rhyming genius', Kanye's egotistical nature is just despicable and unjustifiable. I mean, I know we all have our own egos, but Kanye West is EGO PERSONIFIED. Reminds me, though, that Beyonce's a genius for collaborating w/ Kanye on a song entitled "EGO."

I have NEVER NEVER ever liked Kanye to begin with. NEVER. I had always thought PRIOR to this incident that he is an obnoxious, self-righteous, arrogant ahole. Taylor Swift did NOT deserve the verbal abuse. If I was Taylor, I would have told off that arrogant ahole and I would have INSISTED that he be locked up in JAIL for a few days for the verbal assault. It's just very obvious that he had poor role models for parents.

Kanye West is nothing but a racist and this isn't the first time he did something like this. He doesn't like the white females winning awards. Especially when they sing country music.

The whole thing looked staged to me. And Beyonce's gesture later seemed just as fake. I hate to say it, but Taylor didn't seem as surprised or as grateful as a person should be in such a situation. Look at her body language - a quick hug for Beyonce at the beginning, then another quick hug and a light touch on the arm afterwards. If someone had spontaneously done that for me, I'd have been so choked up I wouldn't be able to speak. And afterwards, I'd at least SAY something to the person responsible, if not actually walk offstage with her. But maybe that's just me. I think I'm getting cynical in my old age.
