Kanye West continued to debut new material from his highly anticipated new album, Yeezus, during NYC’s famed Governors Ball. Check out “I Am a God” below. “I Am a God” (billed by some as “I Am God”) harps on the comical nature of self-important celebrities in today’s music industry and the obsessive idolization and adoration from the public.
Kanye West has previously debuted new songs “Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves” on SNL and through a guerrilla marketing campaign in which he projected his own image, accompanied by the audio track, on dozens of buildings across the globe. “On Site” and an as of yet untitled track were also debuted at the 2013 Governors Ball.
