Ju'not was terrible! A total rip-off of one of Jamar's Hollywood performances. If it wasn't original when Jamar did it, how the hell is it original when Ju'not does it a two weeks later?!?!?!

I absolutely LOVED this performance. What a smooth smoky sexy voice! The judges however chopped him to pieces. I don't get it.

I thought Ju'Not Joyner's performance was wonderfully unique. I am saddened that he was not in the top 13 because he is versatile and I believe he would have brought a special quality and musical variety to the team.

Hopefully, someone saw his gift and will pick him up. I'd love to hear from him in the future. I could listen to Ju'Not anytime.

I went back and listened to everyone I think Ju'not is the only one out of all the contestants so far to change up a song and make it his own. I love the original of this song but I love love love Ju'not's version. He is brilliant and I think he totally got robbed by AI. He would have made it through under the old system. It is such a shame because so far this is the only song that has been worth buy on iTunes. I really hope Matt G. does well because I am uniterested so far in the rest.

Awau, I just did the "eyes closed" test, and he passed with flying colors!! :-D

I loved it! This was the performance I couldn't get out of my head all night and then again this morning- and it stands up to my re-listen-with-my-eyes-closed test. I really hope he makes it through tonight!

Ju'not tortured this song to death. The only thing he made me to was wish a genuinely capable male R&B singer covered this song because I think it could be cool. Dude couldn't sell it.

Loved it, loved it. My ideal top 3 for this week would be him, Jorge and Felicia, in that order. A girl can dream, right?

i thought this was super smooth. i really liked his maturity after the first slug of kids. i think it might have been too mellow to get him through though.

I agree with boy DJJayito and chessguy.

It's too bad that the producers were stacking the groups so heavily for chosen ones like Danny and Adam, because in a fair and just world, Ju'Not is probably one of the 12 best singers. Definitely one of the most consistent.

I hate these stupid affirmative action rules -- the male singers are obviously, OBVIOUSLY wiping the floor with the girls this season. Not to say that some of the contestants don't deserve to make the Top 12. I'm just very bothered by the idea that every week a spot is "reserved" for somebody who theoretically could be the fourth-highest vote getter.

I liked him here and in Hollywood, but I'm worried that he didn't leave enough of a lasting impression to rival some of the second half singers.

I voted for him. This was great! And why were the arrangements so much better this week? They sucked for the last 2 groups.

I've listened to Lil, Von, Taylor, Alex & Arianna ....this is the first one that I liked! Go Ju'not!

I was falling asleep at the beginning, but from the middle on I was hooked. He has a great voice, but I'm reserving judgement on whether he's in my top 12 until I see the rest of tonight's show.

Wow, I must be coming down with something because this performance did nothing for me. It was just drowsy, but not in an edgy "Billie Jean" kind of way. It reminded me of SCTV's classic "Perry Como: Still Alive" with Eugene Levy. :)

I thought he had the best performance of the night. It wasn't perfect by any means, but it was memorable. He picked a great song and did a good rendition of it.

I like his performance, third best of the night behind Lil and Jorge. He would have made Top 12 from either of the other two groups. He's at the top of my wildcard list.

This was a nice mellow r&b interpretation, but based upon ALL performances this week, he won't make the Top 12 without a wild card pick. Week 3 was so strong, compared to 1 and 2... I hope they pick the wild cards from Week 3.

best of the night by far...
which will make voting very interesting....

Aprylette, I LOVED Jamar's version too. *sigh*

I was comparing his interpretation of Hey There Delilah to the former contestant in Hollywood, Jamar Rogers, whose version I absolutely looove & have listened to repeatedly on youTube.

I don't remember Ju'not's auditions, even the Hollywood 1, if he was showcased a little. But, I'll tell ya, he introduced himself effectively tonight, that's for sure!

This take on the song was very nice & I agree with you guys on the SEXY of his delivery. :)

I love everything about him.

And yes, SEXY.

I liked his interpretation of the song. I'll give him a B+.

I really, really liked this. Very sexy interpretation. And I liked his demeanor with the judges while they gave feedback. One to watch!
