Sing it SISTA!!!!!! I actually dig this performance! So is this Joshua's swan song and will he be a shock boot? 

give the kid a break! even juliet simms indirectly gave the dude credit for this performance..

It started fine but he destroys every song by over singing.  It's just sad.  He could be so much better if he had the insight into when to go all out and when to be more circumspect. 

Somewhere, the godfather is smiling. Joshua just flat out gets it!

Oy. I've seen so many (much better) performances of this. This did not deserve a standing ovation.

he may sung it well, but it seems like more of scream.shout. at any rate still sounded good.

Its one thing to have you fave but it is another to deny the facts....Like him or not J.Ledet deserves to win A.I...he was the best by far.....@ Theresa hmm interesting comment because P.Phillips sang a Dave Matthews song exactly like the original complete with Dave's SA accent......How's that for copy cat....

He sang the hell out of that dong. Jessica did not capture the emotion of And I am telling you.....Hollie was good too

I don't want to listen to copy cats. I want to see some originality. Singing it like the original is boring.

If you listen to the original there is meant to be screaming in it!

And both screamed the hell out of it. Just annoying.

They just had that song on The Voice.

um, jessica just blew him out of the water.

This performance had me standing up at home shouting. Simply amazing. What talent, what soul, what singing ... Wow!  I wasn't a Joshua Ledet fan at first, but these past few weeks have got me tuning in just to hear him sing.

It's like you are listening to one of the great singers of old re-incarnated. Haven't seen this degree of talent anywhere in a long, long while. I'm a fan!!

He picked a song Chris Mann killed two days ago and a song that Juliet Simms did BETTER THAN ANYONE on the Voice. He's a good singer, but it was incredibly stupid.

Another standing O from the judges?  This was OK, but not in the caliber of When a Man Loves a Woman.

I think it was pretty stupid of him to do this song since a contestant from the Voice blew it out of the water just this year. All I could think about while listening to this was how much better Juliet Simms sang it. I wonder if this is going to hurt him this week.

Idol trying to answer the Voice? we get it already, it's a Man's world, and no woman will ever win.  Whatever.  I appreciate Juliet's version and interpretation better.
