Epic soundtrack and about to be an epic movie! I can't wait to see it.

@Mikhail XO @Trey_ If they do even a tiny amount of justice to the book, I think "epic" will suit it.


Okay, maybe not "epic", since it's more of a character study than a huge whiz-bang, operatic setpiece. But it has the potential to be awesome regardless.

@Mikhail XO @NickRoman1 @Trey_ Well, I don't think it's going to necessarily have the psychologically incisive qualities of Fitzgerald's original, but I actually feel like this property is a perfect fit for Luhrmann's style over substance sensibilities, in the sense that even if he buries the nuance of the original text under a thick later of glitz, anachronistic music, and high fashion, it will still be worth it as long as he keeps at least the broad strokes of Fitzgerald's book.
