Easily his worse performance and night. I blame his fans on AI Forums for suggesting any 30stm song. Clueless like the lambert fans that wanted the same thing. Leto is a POWER singer james and lambert are finesse and would therfor failll big in comparision. A slower paced 30stm song would have been better if he wanted to stick with that group.

The flow of the song was just bad aswell, wasnt structured good for the -2min they have. im assuming the crowd was asked to shout nonono, cuz he didnt even say it-the crowd failed if they were indeed asked to participate.

This theme shoulda been an easy 1 for James to do his thing, he blew it with the help of his fans. I hope they voted hard to make up for it.

If you ever listen to that group, you would know he nailed it. Screaming the lyrics is their trademark.

Love the song, but he was terribly weak singing it. His Without You was much, much better. This was was just horrible.

I just had to go listen to the real song again to remind myself that 30 Seconds to Mars is a hell of a lot better than the crap James put on tonight. My BF and I had no idea what performance the judges were talking about, because all that praise surely couldn't have actually been for this that my 3 year old could have done better. Maybe it's because I was in the kitchen cooking while this one was on (I've never been a James fan so I don't are to actually watch his performances) and I don't get "blown away" by his stage presence and forget to hear his actual voice.

I didn't think it was very good, and J-Lo was looking like she didn't think it was good, whatever she may have said later.

I LOVE 30 Seconds to Mars. Just saw them perform this in concert last Wednesday. I hate to say it but it was not one of Jame's best performances. But I give him credit for singing a contemporary rock song!

James, what happened tonight?? I'm thinking perhaps he was nervous about his second song "Without You" and didn't put his full energy and efforts into this song. I've never heard it, but could tell it was way off pitch, which is highly unusual for James. In any case, I won't be swayed by one off week. I'm still pulling for James to WIN!!

This was not James' best. My daughter and I were in the kitchen when it first came on and we looked at each other and made identical "Ew ..." sounds. Not good at all.

That was atrocious. There was no energy to the performance either. If you are gonna slap peoples' hands to this song, he needs to be running around and slapping their hands.
