James Arthur sang “One” on The X Factor UK Live Show 9. Watch the video here.
A lot of people like this guy, but I’m not really impressed. He’s boring. So many people who are not on a reality singing competition show are better than him.

Everybody has their own taste in music, but this is probably one of the best contestants to come out of these singing shows for years. You don't see the guy with all these crazy performances, he just stands up there and sings. I will take a voice over the top performances.
Having him contrast with Ella was the only thing interesting to me. Alone, and with the other competitors left ....Meh.
He's ok and sometimes I can't hear his lyrics clearly. That falsetto is not even good. Average at best!
I think this guy has strong talent, and I'd consider buying his music. There is a wonderful depth to his voice.
Yeah we know rickey. You love them young, where looks go before talent. For people where music actually comes first, James is by far the best. But keep trolling.
@MichaelBing1 I was comparing him to people outside the show. This guy is nothing outside The X Factor bubble. The show has a proven track record. I don't need to elaborate any more.
@Rickey Yes you do. Olly Murs was runner up and is #1 in England again. 3rd album. There are exceptions.
@Rickey @MichaelBing1 It´s all taste Rickey. Sure a lot of bands are better than him, but he is also a whole lot better than many of the so called established bands outside the x factor circus. But if we stay with the facts here, you always seem to cheer for young boyband members, og pretty looking guys where it is obvious that the look goes way before the voice. If you are in doubt of what i mean, take a look in your historic files.
Well, "historically", I have the sensibilities of a little girl. But the record also shows that I am an avid supporter of the "black divas". In fact, the blog gained prominence with my support of none other than Fantasia Barrino way back in 2003.
These days, I choose to highlight younger and pleasing to the eye artists because they have a greater chance of catching the attention of the 18-24 demographic which is my target audience for advertising.
This doesn't mean however, we won't cover anyone who isn't young or good looking. I'm just not impressed with James Arthur unfortunately. For this last quarter of 2012, we covered FOUR singing reality shows, that's more than 100 singers. If I was just watching The X Factor UK, I can see how he would stand out within that show but he does nothing for me personally.
@Mikhail XO @MichaelBing1 lol yes you are. I don´t really care how you find me, but i can tell you that you come across as a complete whiner. If you want to ban me because you can´t handle something that goes against your beliefs, then go ahead sunshine.
And as i said before. If you have nothing intelligent to add, then just don´t comment here. It´s really simple, even for you.
@Mikhail XO How mature Mikhail. Do you have other itelligent things to say?
