The emotion his singing creates did ensure him being picked to the shortlist. We will have to wait and see if his confidence improves as Nicole Shirtsinger has pledged to work on as his mentor.

He can't handle anything modern.  Probably gay.  Joe McElderry 2.0 without the charm, self-confidence or cuteness.  He is not the winner they're looking for.
