C'mon wheres the perfect pitch? He was out of tune most of the time during the first part..also whats with the shoulder lifting..he is just scary.....but then again c'mon America vote for him again....you like watching stuffs like Jacob....boring! Hope judges will clean their ears...

Fabulous. Just pitch perfect and so touching. Very emotional, as usual. I just loved it. I agree with the above post--the best vocalist left in the competition, best one to tell a story with the building of the song.

All I ever see is negative comments about Jacob. .. Are you all tone deaf? You nit pic, and talk about his looks...if looks were the criteria for great singers we would not have many of the greatest like Aretha, Nina Simone, Johnny Cash,Van Morrison, Janice Joplin, Freddie Mercury.. not exactly a group of picture perfect folks but the music they gave us was incredible..You want looks watch the Miss America pageant. I want to here musicians I could not care less what they look like.. When pop music got too concerned about looks we traded in Simon and Garfunkel for The Backstreet Boys...now whose songs of those two acts do you think will stand the test of time..Grow a pair of ears and listen to the music..

Sorry not my favorite drama queen...good voice, talented, but I find myself thinking he should be on broadway as a lead singer singing gospel...

Whataya know? We have a kinder, gentler, more humble Jacob this week. He did a great job, but I'm kind of surprised he didn't think of this song himself because it suited his voice so well.

All these haters talking about the best vocalist being eliminated last week...nope. He's still here! Jacob can hit the glory notes like Pia but he is also able to tell a story with his vocals. He knows how to pace himself and can bring it low, low, low but then build it up and go sky high and hit those notes. Jacob ftw! Best Black male contestant since Nikko Smith...that's going a long way

Well I surely didn't find that as incredible as the judges seemed to......just kind of boring.

Clear your ears buddy...only ONE note stands out..the rest is just over indulgence again...Where is Simon? America needs her teacher again...

I disagree with the fact that Pia couldn't "tell a story" with her voice. Especially in her earlier performances, she was able to tell a story in her words and emotions. Sorry, just my opinion. Not to take anything away from Jacob...

Yeah, parts of it were boring, but when he got to the chorus, I found myself singing along, but I wish the whole song had that energy.
