It’s Official: Prince Died Of Opioid Overdose
Prince died of “opioid overdose” according to multiple reports of the medical examiner’s testing.
The medical examiner did not specify what type of opioid, but the suspicion is Percocet.
6 days before his death, Prince had nearly died from a Percocet overdose that forced an emergency landing in Moline, IL … where he had to get a “save” shot.
Percocet is an opioid — a combination of oxycodone and acetaminophen (Tylenol) — but the AP report doesn’t specify what opioid was in Prince’s system.
As we’ve reported, Dr. Michael Schulenberg was at Paisley Park the morning Prince died there — and Dr. Howard Kornfeld’s son was also there with opioids used to treat addiction.
Not going to lie, I’m crying again right now.
This is just sad news.
The pain that Prince was feeling must have been unbearable. So tragic that he did not get help in time.
