One of my favorite contestants this year, I was really rooting for him. They didn't give him enough credit but I love how down to earth Matt is. I think he's amazing and can't wait to see him on tour :)

Matt is a genuine person. I like this interview so much. I wish Idol would do more behind-the-scenes interviews (and not cake fights)so we get to know them even more. I love Matt's voice - his I-tunes studio versions are the best. I can see him being on the radio today with his voice and style.

Matt's a cool dude. He's my American Idol! Not only is he extremely talented and versatile, but also such a fun, smart guy. I can't wait for his album and solo tour!

I love this interview, specially the part when he said "what can I sing to become a better musician".

He is very good in interview, he is fun and this is what I love Matt.

Adam Lambert is the best vocalist EVER on idol history. He could out sing anyone vocally, that is not debatable.

He seems like a likable guy here. That didn't really come through on stage but now I get a sense of what my KZoo friend has been saying about Matt.

Also he was so much calmer singing on Ellen than any time on the Idol stage. Nerves really got to him.

Props for teaching himself piano.

Oh My God, i loved Matt's interview. He's soooooooooo funny, laid back, and humble! I love his smoky voice too!

I loved this interview with Matt. It gave me a glimpse into Matt as a person. You really can't tell much about them while they are performing on stage.

I haven't been a big fan of Michael Slezak lately because of his blatant dislike for Danny Gokey. Riddle me this Batman? Why is it that he can say to Matt that the producers of the show set him up in certain way in the beginning, but he constantly slams Danny Gokey for the storyline that the PRODUCERS of AI set up for Danny from the very BEGINNING in regard to him losing his wife?? Grrrrr......

I love the girl Dawnie from Life.com! She was able to articulate very well the same thing that I am feeling about Adam right now! And, she does it without coming off as a total b**tch like that other girl that is on the show (the one that slaps Michael's face at the end). I like Adam, but she's so right about the stairs, the lights, the tongue, the last spot on performance night! When David Cook came out in a white suit last year and performed, he got slammed for it by Simon! It really ticks me off that Adam is touted as the best thing that ever happened to Idol when there are others that are just as good or better in past seasons.

In my opinion, they are BOTH spot on with their views about how Allison was treated on that show! She is so talented, but they never gave her the credit she deserved! Her rendition of Cry Baby was amazing!! She got a very lukewarm critique from all of the judges! WTF? Yay for Slash!! Today on Twitter, he said that he didn't think Allison deserved to go home so soon and that she had potential! He's right!

Matt is such a nice fun guy. So down to earth and humble. He really deserves much success.
I agree that all his post show performances have been incredible! Such a talented guy.

It's too bad he felt so much pressure during the show and the nerves totally got him.
I hope he gets a record deal soon, he just has to!I think Kara and Randy sort of hinted he was going to get one. So let's all hope.

Best contestant interview series this season. Matt is so real and has such a great sense of humor. The chemistry between Matt at Slezak was magic. To bad none of this showed up while he was on the show. I guess the pressure got to him.

I'm liking Matt a lot since he got eliminated; his post-Idol performances have been better than his ones on the show. Too bad...and I love his sense of humour.
