Last week, Justin and Christina chose their brigades (from 8 previously eliminated contestants). Justin and Christina also ran the pass tonight.
Christina—a 32-year-old chef from Pennsylvania was up against Justin—a 29-year-old chef from New Jersey.
Tonight’s Dinner Service:
Justin and Christina were not allowed to cook tonight. They were only allowed to run the pass (call out the table orders) and to double-check the quality of the food that was being cooked.
Justin’s team (Blue Team) consists of: Barbie, Brian, Royce, and Clemenza. Justin was assertive tonight—similar to that of a “culinary drillmaster.” Clemenza was moving too slowly in the Blue Kitchen—he was very lackadaisical. Royce handed Justin cold & dry crab cakes and cold fish; Clemenza handed Justin raw salmon and ravioli; and Barbie served overcooked Rib Eye steak. Barbie actually ran out of Rib Eye, so Justin had to switch the Rib Eye order with Fillet Mignon.
Christina’s team (Red Team) consists of: Dana, Patrick, Kimmie, and Robyn. Christina was passionate tonight—but she took the opposite approach of Justin’s. At the beginning of dinner service, she acted like a “best friend” to the Red Team; but, towards the latter half of dinner service, she became more assertive and confident. Dana & Robyn handed Christina burnt scallops. I’m actually surprised that Dana was the worst cook on the Red Team tonight (because she finished in 3rd place…she should’ve performed better). Dana also handed Christina stone cold, dry, and overcooked halibut on numerous occasions. Then, Dana made another mistake: she served raw pork. Was she really frazzled or was she secretly trying to sabotage Christina?
Chef Ramsay Pranked Justin and Christina:
Ramsay scared Justin and Christina half-to-death. He said that he wouldn’t be doing the “usual, two-door” reveal this season. Ramsay then went on to say, “The winner of Hell’s Kitchen is …. TAVON.” (Tavon was the first contestant to be eliminated this season.)
Chef Ramsay Revealed the Winner of Season 10:
Chef Ramsay reviewed all of the customers’ comment cards and he also weighed everything that Justin and Christina have accomplished this season. This was one of the toughest decisions that he had to make.
He described Christina as “passionate,” and he stated that Justin “has an extraordinary palate.”
Result: Christina took home the grand prize of $250,000. She’s officially the head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Steak House at the Paris in Las Vegas, NV! Congratulations, Christina!!!

Christina’s Winning Moment:
I thought Justin was going to win because he slightly outperformed Christina during tonight’s dinner service. But, Christina is the more likeable person of the Final 2…. so I see why Chef Ramsay chose Christina. Chef Ramsay probably preferred Christina because she is also the more passionate chef of the two. Justin can be expressionless at times (even though he is an amazing chef).
I’m looking forward to Season 11. Tune in then!
