HBO Announces 2015 Premiere Dates for ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Veep’, More

HBO has announced the 2015 dates for some of its hottest shows.

The news was announced earlier this evening at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, as Game of Thrones, Veep, Silicon Valley and Real Time With Bill Maher have had their return dates announced. Going chronologically, Real Time With Bill Maher is up first, as the hit roundtable political discussion/comedy series returns tomorrow, Friday, January 9th at 10:00 PM ET. And the 2015 premiere, as with every episode of Real Time, is live. In addition, it has been confirmed that the show, about to start its 13th season, has been renewed for two more seasons! (I love Real Time, so this news is right up my alley.)

Meanwhile, the hotly-anticipated, Emmy-nominated Sunday night lineup is premiering on the same night.

Game of Thrones, Veep and Silicon Valley are all returning on Sunday, April 12th, with Game of Thrones at 9:00 PM, Veep at 10:00 PM, and Silicon Valley at 10:30 PM.

With the promise of a special next month detailing Season 5 of cable’s favorite “non-Walking Dead series where people we like die each year,” it seems like we might be getting a premiere trailer soon, if last year’s release schedule is any indication. Here’s hoping!
