‘Glee’ Pays Touching Tribute to Cory Monteith In Series Finale (VIDEO)

Last night, Glee came to an end after six seasons with a series finale that was both touching and slightly ridiculous. I say “ridiculous” because that’s mostly the only way I can justify Sue Sylvester becoming Vice President of the United States to Jeb Bush. But that’s neither here nor there. The show actually earned a few goosebumps from me for paying tribute to Cory Monteith one last time.

In the finale clip, Sue returns to McKinley High School to rename the school auditorium in Finn Hudson’s honor. Then, New Directions performs one last time, as cast members both past and present come forward to perform “I Lived” by OneRepublic. The series goes out on a poignant but mostly happy note. Bring the tissues and check out the clip below:
