George Clooney Receives Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award (VIDEO)

George Clooney received the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 72nd Annual Golden Globes on Sunday, January 11, 2015.

The award was presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in recognition for “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.” Julianna Margulies who Clooney worked with in TV and Don Cheadle who he worked with in film gave the introduction.

In his speech, George Clooney talked about how everyone in the room aren’t “losers” even if at the end of the night 80% of them will not get an award. He also thanked his wife Amal.

Finally, he reminded everyone of the marches that happened today all around the world in support of France.

“We will not walk in fear,” he said.
