FOX Renews MasterChef Junior for Season 2
FOX is staying in the Gordon Ramsay business.
The network has renewed MasterChef Junior for a second season. The cooking competition is a spin-off of the successful MasterChef mothership, and focuses on kids between the ages of 8-13 competing for a $100,000 grand prize and the coveted MasterChef Junior trophy.
“MasterChef Junior is one of the few shows on television that the entire family can truly enjoy together,” said Fox Chairman Kevin Reilly. “I can’t wait to see what Gordon, Joe, Graham and the next round of rambunctious, ridiculously talented junior chefs cook up in Season 2.”
During its first season, MasterChef Junior pulled in a total audience of 5.1 million viewers and ranked No. 1 in all the major demo categories.
