Entertainment Weekly is reporting Simon Cowell is nearing the end of his search for two new hosts of The X Factor after the Steve Jones debacle last year. Many names are being thrown around, including ABDC host Mario Lopez, sportscaster Erin Andrews, BET personalities Terrence J & Rocsi Diaz, and many more.

I'm surprised that they didn't nail down the hosts prior to the auditions. Not that they're imperative at that stage, but I'm just used to seeing Cat Deely, Nick Cannon, Ryan Seacrest talking to the auditioners, bad or good, and interacting with their family backstage. I wonder how they'll integrate the hosts when it premieres.
