The song is awesome but I have to agree that the hair was the first thing I noticed. It was awful and the video was not that great. Still love him though!

I love the new album. Hope it does well. The hair does not make the man nor the singer! Looks are irrelevant. The voice is what we are interested in. I already pre-ordered from Amazon and was shipped today, can wait to get it. I will also try to get it from Target or Walmart since I've heard that it has different bonus tracks. Go and buy or order your copy today.....

HaaHaaa...I have to laugh at all the critiques of Elliott's new video. I think he looks adorable and yes, his hair is just combed back on the sides. Probably a stylist did it. Remember people...this video was done by the same guy that did the video for Wait for You which was a huge success and #1 on VH1 for weeks!If you want to hear the rest of his CD which drops tomorrow go the the link Benmyoho gave upthread. It will surprise you how GOOD it is. Go out and buy it and try to pick a favorite song! I dare you.

listen.. i LOVE Elliott!! I can honestly say that I'm one of his biggest fans.. i love his voice, his personality and everything about him... but if nobody close to him is going to tell him, then maybe reading his fans, who LOVE him, and only want the best for him will help. The hair is terrible.. obviously, i'm not the only one who noticed.. it was actually distracting... the video was corny.. I would have preferred to see him sitting on a stool in a dark room... telling a story with this song.. emotionally... the words are great.. the story in the video made it all seem stupid.

i'm not making these statements to offend his fans (of which I consider myself to be).. i'm not trying to insult Elliott.. I'm hoping tha tthe powers that be... around him.. take a moment and think about his presentation next time... I DON'T want him to fall into obscurity becuase people start thinking of him him as the guy with the awful hair, or the corny videos.. he's better than that.

Love this song, love Elliott! He was such a great success story on the show, he really changed from the beginning. I wonder if this is his girlfriend? I heard him interviewed on our local classical station this morning- probably a national interview. He said they have been together 3 years in May an that she is a model. He also talked about how he sometimes picks up the phone to call his mom with news and then realizes she is gone. How sad!

I love the video. Elliott looks awesome.. What is it with the picking on Elliott's hair all the time.. geesh, get real folks. Elliott's hair is curly and he combed the sides back. The real awesomeness is Elliott's voice. The video is fun to watch and hearing Elliott singing makes the video all the more attractive. I love the Cd as well. Great songs and Elliott pours his heart out in each word.

Wow. I can't believe how superficial and hyper-critical some people are!!!!
I guess people forget that Elliott is an INDEPENDENT artist. He doesn't have the backing of a major label to shell out the big bucks for a video. This comes from Elliott's pocket, and I think it's a great video. I really enjoyed watching to see what was next and I love the song. I also love his hair. It is not a mullet! It's just cut closer on the sides. Geez! Cut the man some slack, he has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Not only that, he is one of the nicest people on Earth, and you can bet that you wouldn't hear him bashing ANYONE like this! Period!

Haha, I know we're bashing the hair, but we gotta admit... (and this is from a straight guys perspective) Elliott looks about a million times better than he did when he started Idol. He was janked up then! This song is so great, though!

Love Elliott. I don't see the mullet. It's a little long at his nape, but nothing much to talk about. His hair looks best hot ironed, like they did for him on Idol, but Elliott's not a metro male who is in to all that styling stuff. I think he's awesome, and I love his voice, and I think he looks great in the video. His new CD is great and I can't wait to pick up my copy May 5th. I love everything about him.

omg, that video is so awkward. i love the song, but watching the video is so weird. like, it's corny and makes elliott look like he's spazzing out? i also wish they would have toned down the beauty of the lead chick.
