Didi Benami – Sweet Rain

I love Didi. Thanks for sharing her single. Her voice is so unique.

This is a poor song and worse yet it doesn't show off Didi's the immense quality of Didi's voice.

Didi has to sing songs that allow for her voice to stand out. This song is worse than any of the AI9 songs that she sang. And you all know it. Didi needs songs that are arranged in such a way that her voice soars above the instruments when she sings. This is a poorly-written song and worse yet, it doesn't work for Didi.

Song arrangements like those for Rickie Lee Jones is what Didi needs.

i cannot believe how the amer idol audience let those judges sway their votes to letting didi go. people!!! start thinking with your own brains!!!! didi is just too big for amer idol & will make it further on her own.

Didi has a very distinct voice.. A record company should invest in Didi as a recording artist. They won't regret it.

I'm so sad that we didn't get to hear her this week. This just proves she has a great voice; I do get the "country" comparison but I think that's more due to the fiddle arrangement than her voice itself.

what a lovely song! a million times better than most of the female-voiced pop songs on the radio right now. i really hope didi does well, she totally deserves it. such a strong, sweet lady.

This is my first season watching American Idol. Can someone please explain to me why good talent is going home and Tim and Katie are still around?? Do people feel bad or something and vote like crazy for them? Don't they feel bad they are sending the actual talent home? I'm confused. All I have to say is Tim and Katie better not end up in the I Can Dream House.

It's boring just like almost every song that idols do after leaving the show. I love Didi and she is WAY better than this song.

From where I come from, there are too many belters... I kinda don't enjoy them anymore. The message of a song, to me, seems to get lost somewhere in belting. And it can get unpleasant for my ears.

Siobhan is like a female Adam Lambert. I think she came in a little late to be belting here and there. She should try other vocal techniques.

I was hoping AI9 would have a different champ, someone who isn't generic, like Didi. After that "If I Can Dream" appearance, I'm looking at the angle that like Alex, she'll be taking a different direction. (Of course, they can't apply the Alex's formula to Didi. It's be obvious.) I really like that. I just hope bits of exposures like that will help her get that big break. I want her to pull a Jennifer Hudson. That'd be really cool, don't you think?

If Didi releases an album or stops by here for a concert or anything, I'd surely shell out.

whatever,,,, shes my american idol, becuz she was better than siobhan i dont think how the judges praise her all the time, all she did was screaming and at last the sound look like came from her nose WTF wakeup jugdes... sorry for siobhan fans but that is the truth.

God, how could they do that to my angel Didi? :( She's my American Idol. I hope she gets a break. She deserves it. Right? She has this uniqueness that the judges in idol didn't see whenever they critiqued her for not doing the singer-songwriter thing. I hate it. She just wanted to show that she's different. Unlike Siobhan, who's always praised for being so different, Didi was ugh turned down. :(((

Wow that is a great song...do you know anyplace that you can download it? I loved Didi and I wish that the judges or the voters saved her this week...

It's very nice. A little too pop-ish. Kinda like a Colby Callet (sp?) song. I would like to hear more edge or quirk, something more like Adele. But, pretty girl, pretty song, which is never a bad combo. Just a little vanilla.
