Demi Lovato Discusses Bipolar Diagnosis & Simon Cowell – Live With Kelly & Michael – Video

Demi Lovato talks about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and not putting up with Simon Cowell on Live with Kelly & Michael.  I think Simon might have finally met his match!

Demi talks about how her parents staged an intervention when she was at her lowest point, which lead to her being diagnosed and treated for bipolar disorder.

She also shares that she doesn’t “put up with Simon.”  She’s a fiery southern gal and when Simon says something snarky, she just fires right back.

I’m really starting to like this girl.  I love that Simon finally has a co-judge that instead of getting all worked up and mad, gives as good as she gets.  Simon seems to respect that as well.  I think watching these two interact is going to be a lot of fun.

I’m also really impressed with Demi not being afraid to share some of the issues she has struggled with.   A lot of young people are going through what she has gone through and I think it’s great that maybe they might see her talking about it and get some help.

Also liking Michael Strahan as the new co-host, though he does kinda make Kelly Ripa look like she escaped from munchkin land.
