haters.  DeAndre is bomb.  We miss the premise of the show; to find untapped talent and polish them into shining diamonds.  That's what they have done.  This boy has got mad skills and it ain't just the locks...sorry.  He knows his influences.  Training and coaching is always necessary; for anyone.  To say he doesn't belong where he is, is just straight up hatin'.  He's proven himself...and enough to deserve a spot.  If he ain't 'cho style, he ain't 'cho style.  But there something up there to fit everyone....and they got mo balls than a lot of other people....sittin' out in the interwebs, havin' a bunch of opinions.

I think Deandre can be a top 3 finisher like Haley.

I thought Haley was annoying ...at first.  She improved--and she can sing Adele PROPERLY.  Deandre, like Haley has a lot of potential to improve.  Wouldn't surprise me if he made T5.  Loved that he is inspired by Naima.  Boom Fire!

Totally agree with Jimmy's comments about DeAndre.  He simply needs Coaching!  Fabulous voice!  He needs to understand that the falsetto should be used sparingly so people won't grow tired of it.  He has a unique sound to his voice, even in his lower register.  Hope Jimmy teaches him these things!  I have to believe that his family and friends, along with the judges, have spent so much time praising his falsetto, he thinks that's what he needs to do All the time.  Once he learns he has a great voice, even without hitting the high notes, he'll be good to go!

I love his voice.  I think he needs to cut the hair.  I don't understand how he didn't get more votes.

Sorry Rickey, but he's gonna get old so fast.

Hes the whole package. I agree less falsetto--in fact no falsetto will be fine with me..He has a fabulous voice and face and is very very marketable. Love him

I totally agree with you. He has a fabulous voice and needs to know when and how to use that falsetto. I love Deandre and he is just so good to look at too.

@PGV I agree. He's young -his falsetto has probably been so hyped and he buys into it and thinks he needs to do it more than necessary. I thought he made some really cool choices with "Georgia". I think he got that one almost exactly right. Even a bit less falsetto, but it was just about perfect. I thought he killed it - especially the ending.

@Klope62 His peers were jumpin outta their seats. Are y'all just jealous of his locks? lol He won't get 'old' very fast for me. At least he's not WGWG. He's fun and nice to look at!

@Klope62 He just has two things that he needs to work on and the first is to stop looking up at the gawd damn judges for approval every time he's about halfway to a high note. The second is  how he carries himself through a song which is pretty much a problem for everyone in the wildcard. They're good singers no doubt, but their interpretations are week.

Yeah, he sang more in his "normal" and lower register, which for me made his performance better!  He does need to work a little on his transitions too though.

Once Jimmy and the other mentors work with him on transitions and how to use his falsetto with Purpose, the sky's the limit!

@Mikhail XO I still don't understand why they picked Jermaine to come back. Look at Randy's face when Jermaine is in Top 10.  Looks like the judges didn't want him there.

@Mikhail XO  @Klope62 Not to be mean about such a likable guy, but church is about the only place I see him as being relevant.  How about this to add to the conspiracy. . . the judges already know the 10, and, therefore already are pretty sure which 3 they want for wild cards, ergo choosing Brielle and Reed rather than, maybe Aaron and another stronger girl to sing-off. That way they knew (planned) they could diss Brielle's and Reed's sing-for-life performances and make it seem the others won out legitimately? They picked 2 strong girls (Jen & Erika) maybe not knowing which of them? Just thoughts.

@Mikhail XO  @Klope62 Speaking of  the "ladies like him" - - I'm already down for a voting conspiracy theory right out of the gate. I have a really hard time believing Jermaine made it through to top 5 on votes with Deandre and Eban in the mix for the tweens. Anybody else?
