DC Comics + NBC Are Teaming Up to Make a Workplace Comedy

Ready for an Office-type workplace comedy set in the DC Comics universe? Yeah, we’re not sure how to answer that either.

According to Deadline, the show will be called Powerless and is a half-hour single-camera comedy with a pilot production commitment from NBC.

As for the plot? It’s “set at one of the worst insurance companies in America — with the twist being that it also takes place in the universe of DC Comics. The show is about the reality of working life for a normal, powerless person in a world of superheroes and villains.”

No word yet on which DC Comics characters will appear, especially since DC already has five other shows running on various networks (Gotham, Supergirl, Arrow, Flash and the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow) and another project with TNT in the works (Titans).
