David Cook — Happy Birthday

I love you David Cook and David Archuleta. Aww David Cook was cold. I wish I was there to give him my jacket. I will always be the David's number one fan.

Saw an interview on EW.com Idolatry (Michael Slezak) where it was brought out that Cook decided to cut his hair (Little Sparrow) but forgot to shave. That is when some people really started liking Cook (cougars) and he responded by saying "Accidental Cougar Bait is still cougar bait - So it's all Good!" He loves his cougars--as I knew he would. What red-blooded guy wouldn't be flattered? Jessica Shaw (clearly a cougar) said that she had a dream about him and that "he's a really good kisser." He responded by saying "thank you so much." LOL

Squirrelly: Saw your post on E Online about David Cook and Cougars. Sorry, I didn't get the impression DC was grossed out. That was purely the commentator's opinion who thought it was gross and went so far as to say that we got hot flashes just thinking of him.

The thing with DC is that he clearly loves and appreciates all of his fans and is probably flattered that older women think he's hot or that any women thinks he's hawt and said so by the fact that it's amazing what a haircut and not shaving will make people think he's pretty. David Cook loves all of his fans and they fall between all ages and are both male and female. That's a good solid fanbase that any artist would be happy to have. If he only had tweens--they are fickle for the most part. Us old broads are not dead and can appreciate a "man" like Cook having had more "experience" and know when we spot something good. I think he would think that was gross if we had the hots for Archie (cougar hots), but not for him. If I was him I would rather be called Hawt than "cute."

Heck, I told my 30 yr old daughter that I thought Cook was hawt from the beginning and that in fact he reminded me of her husband. She was so grossed out (freaked out actually). She told him what I just said and he started to laugh and actually liked it. He was flattered even if I am his mother-in-law. It's funny because her husband had to go to a meeting and when her husband entered--the guy who was there said "how's your brother David Cook doing? Do you know you look just like him?"

So now my daughter says she is "obsessed" with David Cook!!!!

I wish I could use that voodoo that DC used on me to make me "nuts" over him and use it back on him to make him fall for me. I'm definitely going through Cookie withdrawals, and I'm a little down today. I need Cookie to comfort me, but that will probably never happen. I can't help how I feel, but I still want more DC music. I got so use to his new songs every week, and next year's idol is in no way going to suffice. Gooooosh my world is upside down now. My feelings are out there, but what does it matter...I'll try to be more upbeat in subsequent postings...just had to express that one more time.
