David Archuleta Bids Farewell to Fans in His Last Video Blog – March 28, 2012

We all know David Archuleta has signed on for a two year Mormon Mission in South America. He posted his very last video blog today March 28 before he moves on to the next phase of his life.

OMG. We’ll miss you, David!

Obviously, he won’t be able to post on Twitter, Facebook ,etc, while he is away. In the video, he gets a little emotional. Aww. I can’t believe he’ll be gone for two years! Wow!

I'm missing David Archuleta already but we are on countdown mode and will continue to support him and his music during his mission.  My Forevermore OPM album is on its  way!  Nandito Ako Miniseries is being subtitled as we speak.  David worked on recording with Kurt Bestor up until the night before he left to release music here during his time away.  Incredible young man.

I'll be here #DA2014.

I'm really gonna miss David.  What a great guy.  And he worked his butt off the last 10 weeks creating stuff for the fans.  He filmed the 5-week Nandito Ako series as leading man (work is a DVD set w/ subtitles is in the works from TV5), the Forevermore CD (now shipping - see Amazon, WOWHD), Forevermore music video coming April 1.  And when he got back to the US he started recording another album of classic? inspirational? songs (at least in part produced by Kurt Bestor and John Hancock) and David worked on that through the day before he left.  Plus two photoshoots we haven't seen (not counting the one for the Forevermore album lyrics booklet).  He left on a high note, and letting his fans know he cares about them.  Warms my heart.  BTW follow him on twitter - he's DavidArchie and that's where his manager will post any messages from David.  #DA2014 I'll Be Here

And so begins a long two years without our angel, David. I agree Archie Sue, that it is time to respect him for standing up for what he believes in. Props to David for staying true to who he is. I will miss him , but will hold onto his music daily, and be here for him in 2014.

Saw this earlier on twitter and I was bawling of course. :(   Gonna miss David so much.  :(  I respect him so I am going to let him go and do what he wants to do.  The Archies made a video for him with the #DA2014 sign and here is David holding his sign up.

Kari his road manager will be taking care of his twitter account and will be doing updates for us diehard fans.  :)   On the bright side the short hairstyle is growing on me, lols and David looks adorbs.

Thanks for posting this Jason.  Gonna watch it again and cry some more.  :(

@PHARO88 I'm Atheist but I respect him and he can choose to believe whatever he wants to believe. That's why I love this country, freedom of religion or even no religion.  No one has the right to tell someone that they can't believe in something. He can believe in blue people and I still wouldn't freaking care.  :)
