Big Machine Label Group is smartly capitalizing on Danielle Bradbery’s victory in Season 4 of The Voice by releasing the singer’s debut single, ‘The Heart of Dixie’ on July 16.
Bradbery won The Voice on the June 18 finale and was signed with BMLG the following day. Since the signing, Bradbery has been in the studio with songwriter Brett James (Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus Take the Wheel”), who co-wrote the singer’s debut single alongside fellow songwriters Troy Verges (Carrie Underwood’s “Wasted” and Hunter Hayes’s “Wanted”) and Caitlyn Smith (Cassadee Pope’s “Wasting All These Tears”).
Bradbery’s debut album is expected to release this fall. You can check out a clip of Bradbery in the studio, featuring a brief snippet of “The Heart of Dixie,” embedded below via Click2Houston:
Got Something to Add?
There's no doubt that Danielle Bradbury has an exquisite voice but in my opinion, she doesn't have any connection to the words she is singing - no feeling or emotion. I expect that will come with maturity, but because of that, I would not have picked her as the winner on The Voice.
Oh Come On she's good tough, but Danielle, just flawless too without auto tune, she's pure nature indeed, as you can see :)
I'd rather listen to Siobhan. No auto tune needed. Just pure vocals :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnseZK1knpw
@Brian Gleason I think she would've gone farther on the Voice....She was way too alternative (and amazing) for Idol. Love her!
