Dallas and J.R. Ewing Are Bigger than Ever – Video

Dallas, the upcoming TNT reboot of the classic nighttime soap opera of the ’80s, is being promoted by a massive 5-acre art installation.

The earth billboard, part of a collaboration between TNT and JetBlue Airways, features Dallas characters J.R. Ewing and Bobby Ewing, played in the show by Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy, respectively.

The installation was created by environmental artist Stan Herd using sustainable materials like mulch, sand, and hay.

“Every time I think TNT and Warner have done something that they can’t top, they come up with something like this,” Duffy said about the promotion.

“This is beyond exciting,” said Dallas co-star Linda Gray.

The new Dallas premiers June 13 on TNT.
